I’m being totally nosy, but don’t worry, I can’t see who answered what, so do the poll! There are several things that are going on right now that threaten to blow my mind in all sorts of good ways, but I can’t talk about them yet. Indulge me. Answer the poll.
Yes, life is incredibly good right now. Oh so challenging, but oh so good.
I wrote in my private journal the other day that I feel like myself again, in a way I haven’t felt for ten years. If you’re just starting out on the journey to independence, take heart. It can happen! And it feels good.

My boyfriend was a friend of ours before he became a boyfriend, so he’s been around the whole time. I insist on only holding hands in front of the little miss though, no kissing or “gross stuff.” I think it depends on your child and your relationships. Some kids would deal with it better than others, I quite expected my daughter to be insanely jealous, but she coped pretty well…
I really don’t know what to answer. My son is three and dating is something I look forward too but doesn’t seem to be happening in the near future! Where are the men????

My answer would probably have been somewhere between the first and second choice, but I went ahead and chose the 2nd. I think it’s okay once I feel comfortable with the guy so I know I’m not exposing my daughter to a creep. She’s used to being around my many friends (both male and female), so as long as I don’t make a big production about it or get lovey with him in front of her, I don’t see it being a big problem.
