The female orgasm eludes men – and even women – everywhere, but there’s no shortage of scientific research on what happens when we reach the big “O.” Physical reactions include increased blood pressure and quickened heart rates and breathing, as well as muscle contractions and slight movement of the uterus and vagina. But it’s that state of euphoria and ecstasy that we pine for, and most of that is in our heads (and glands).
