I know we talked about this many times before, but I love going to the library for movies. Not only are they free, but the selection is impressive and I get to take them home for a whole week. My husband and I don’t go out much. Instead, we’d rather take out a few thrillers or action-adventure flicks and watch together after our son is asleep.
If I don’t have time to browse, I can reserve movies online through the library’s online reservation system. It’s simple and it doesn’t cost a dime.

To save money I head down to our local DVD Play machine, this is the red box full of movies they have at some gas stations. For me it is my McDonald’s. They only cost $1.50 (roughly) you do need to get them back the next day, but that’s pretty cheap if ya ask me. I love it!
My library charges for movies and the selection isn’t great.
I get mine from Netflix. The envelope they mail it in is easily turned back into the return envelope. There’s not a lot of waste. The part I tear off is recycled. Hopefully Netflix is recycling on their end. Hey – I’m going to ask them if they do. Thanks for the idea.
