Time saver for school lunches: apple corer

If you’re like me, at this time of year you’re out every weekend at the farmers markets and fall festivals drooling over the apples.

I love apples.

I hate cutting them up for school lunches. You know the drill: cut the apple into quarters, and then cut the quarters into halves. Then slice out the apple core. Takes too much time and has too many steps.

Simplify. If you’ve ever made a home made apple pie, you’ve wanted one of these.

Pssst… want your own?

I like the new look of the site!

This post on saving time coring apples reminds me of this hilarious set of videos. If you’re looking for time savers when you’re getting ready in the morning, maybe try somersaulting into your shirt? :)

Love the new look! This is one of those tools that would make life so much easier, but in some recess of my mind, I think “Eight dollars!”, but at the same time I could easily spend $60 on a pair of shoes. Maybe next paycheck…

This is too cool. I have a bushel of apples to turn into applesauce, and I’m dreading coring them.

Oooh. I have wanted and resisted one of these… my lazy method is to just slice around the core, but the resulting lack of symmetry annoys the OCD part of me. :)
