I don’t remember if I ever wrote about Halloween this year. Suffice to say, it was amazing. When I was growing up, we had a drought of Halloweennes due to some nut who put razor blades in apples and poison in candy, etc. etc. Halloween was canceled for my generation, and I didn’t have high hopes for the celebration this past Wednesday night.
It ROCKED! There were hordes of kids out on the streets, and on one well-known avenue hereafter referred to as “Loot Central”, fully 75% of the houses were giving out treats. My guy met up with some of his best girlfriends, both the loveliest princesses in da Hood, escorted by the dashing Robin himself.
I am so thankful for so much. This has been a hard week, but I have so much to look forward to next week, including Tango lessons if I can find a babysitter! Yes. Tango lessons. I can’t wait.
The King is still a pill, but I’m not giving up. He will learn respect, calm, focus, and discipline if I have to put him in the Tai Kwan Do class full time.
Now. However am I going to whip MYSELF into shape?
