‘Today Show’ Panelists Blame Demi Moore’s Aging Body For Her Marital Problems With Ashton Kutcher. WTF?

On the Today show this morning, their panelist of Star Jones, Donny Deutsch and Dr. Nancy Snyderman debated a number of the biggest news headlines, including the supposed marital troubles between Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher. As if it’s any of our business, but one explanation they gave for Kutcher cheating was the fact that Demi is so much older than he is and gravity is taking its toll on her body. Because, you know, when we age, men flee to a younger, hotter woman, right?

Here is what they had to say:

Deutsch started the argument:

I think the age difference–about 20 years–can maybe not be an issue when you’re 25 and 45 because you’re still in the same life stage. As the life stages move, for instance when you’re 50 and 70, I think that age difference becomes more challenging at different points.

To which Snyderman added:

Look, gravity plays a role as you get older. And so, um, I just may be tough, I don’t know.

So, seriously? Their marital issues (assuming there even are any) between the two must be due to the fact that Demi is so much older and her body must not be as hot anymore? Maybe her breasts are starting to sag, maybe she’s put on a few pounds, and maybe she’s not as ripped as she was in her G.I. Jane days, who knows. But if even if any of this was the case, it’s just insulting to her and every other woman out there that an aging body is to blame for a husband’s affair. Their split couldn’t possibly be due to, I don’t know, the fact that Ashton is an asshole and leaves the toilet seat up all the time, right? It’s especially troubling that the snide “gravity” remark was made by another woman, to which I say: Um, have you seen Demi’s body? She still looks freakin amazing at the age of 48.

Thankfully there was a rational person in the group, Star , who defended Demi and her body by saying:

I saw them over the holidays a couple of years ago and Demi was banging. I don’t think it has to do with any of that.

Well said. Let’s just leave her body out of this.

My jaw dropped when I heard these callow, too young to have any real perspective, women make the kind of comments you see in movie parodies about women and aging. It was bad “journalism” and was so ludicrous as to have been almost a joke. Only, it was not a funny joke and the Today show should have been ashamed at putting these two twits on thier show. Demi Moore is beautiful and for anyone to blame her difficulties on getting older indicates a shallow mind.

Please tell the “professionals” that it is rude to all talk at the same time as well as difficult for the listener to get what is said. Take turns – we learned that in kindergarten!

“IF” he was cheating, I believe it’s “NOT” due to Demi’s body, she has a wonderful body & could afford to have anything fixed “IF” it was looking old !!!!!!
