Uno the Beagle Makes History

uno.jpg

For the first time ever, a beagle has taken Best In Show at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

Uno, a 15-inch long beagle, also took Best in Group. The only dog consistently listed among America’s most popular breeds for nearly 100 years, a beagle had never won in the 100 times Westminster picked a winner.

Uno beat out two poodles, a Sealyham terrier, a Weimaraner, an Australian shepherd and an Akita.

I have a 1 year old beagle. I feed him Merrick but he only eats it when I add wet food on top. What kind of food is good for beagles?

Yes I have 3 Beagles you must be able to give them the proper care , they need lots of room to be able to run
U live on 100 acres so I have the space
if you live in a apartment a beagle is not the dog for you

As the proud owner of 2 beautiful Beagles, I was thrilled to hear that UNO won! Congratulations UNO. My only concern is that people do their homework before getting a Beagle puppy. They are adorable and hard to resist; however, they are a handful! Just last night my male Beagle (Brittan) reached up on the drainboard with his paw and knocked down an entire plate of sphagetti and ate the entire thing…They are so mischievous and headstrong people might get frustrated and give them up. I don’t want to see any more Beagles in Rescue Centers, than there already are.
