Elizabeth Banks Gives Sensible Fitness Advice In Women’s Health

Sometimes, when celebrities venture to give health advice, it turns out badly—like that time Marisa Miller told us to limit calorie intake by eating naked. Which is why I’m actually getting excited about Elizabeth Banks‘ appearance on the March issue of Women’s Health. The issue hits newsstands tomorrow, but peeks at the interview involve talk of why she chose to use a surrogate, and—refreshingly—some sensible fitness advice.

According to snippets released by The Daily Mail, Banks is prone to indulge occasionally, but she sticks to a great workout:

‘I do this system called TRX. It was developed by a Navy SEAL and is basically a simple cord that you can wrap around something anywhere, anytime, and you use your body weight as resistance,’ she explains.

‘We installed one in our home gym, but you can also attach it to a tree. It’s very easy to travel with.’

TRX might be easy to travel with, but it’s a tough workout. And thankfully, it’s not too extreme: It simply uses your own body weight to create several challenging resistance training moves.

Banks also talks about her fertility problems and how she and her husband came to the decision to use a surrogate to have their baby—all the while keeping what seems like a refreshingly honest, down-to-earth perspective.

My friends told m e great place—please check my name—. They told me it is the best place to seek casual fun and short-term relationship. I have tried. It is fantastic! Tens of thousands pretty girls and handsome guys are active there. You wanna get laid tonight? Come in and give it a shot, you will find someone you like there. Have fun! :-)
