Pippa Middleton‘s body has become iconic–for better or worse–and it’s no secret that she works hard to get it. The Duchess’ sister revealed months ago that she turned to pilates, in addition to her regular gym training, to get into shape for the royal wedding last spring, but now her instructor has signed a deal to get the plan that made her fit as a Princess out to the masses. Margot Campbell, whose Pilates on the Go website is filled with Pippa’s adulations, signed a deal with lifestyle publisher Hodder to publish a pilates, aerobics, and diet program for the masses.
Campbell’s agent said of the book:
Margot’s unique approach which combines pilates with aerobic exercise and healthy eating tips is a complete programme that’s easy to incorporate into your daily routine. You can do it at any time—while you’re waiting for the kettle to boil, pushing a buggy or sitting in a publishing meeting.
And as Pippa testifies on Campbell’s website, her workouts have several benefits beyond of wedding-prep:
As someone who is always ‘on the go’, Pilates has been a wonderful escape from my busy lifestyle in London. Whether it’s 7am in the morning or 7pm at night I always leave feeling calm, refreshed and invigorated. Over the past few months I have noticed a huge difference in my core strength and posture and couldn’t recommend Margot more highly as an instructor. From breathing techniques, muscle toning to overall flexibility and relaxation, my Pilates sessions have become something of a weekly necessity that keeps me fit, happy and energized.
The book is to be released in January, along with an accompanying DVD that readers can follow to take a stab at getting Pippa’s figure.

I like the trend toward exercise that you can squeeze into your lifestyle, or do “on the go”. Very cool–hopefully will enable more of us to get & stay active! I know that’s been the biggest challenge for me in recent years (ever since having kids), to find the time to exercise. Who has time to go to a studio yoga or pilates class regularly…what with time to change/shower/transport…hello, 3 hours later!
Though I must say I’m skeptical you can fit in a pilates workout during a work meeting. Unless you have very open-minded colleagues/bosses. Hmm.
